Since it’s inception in 1979 in Mission Viejo, California, Fire Pro has manufactured a complete line of Fire Protection products for the Municipal and Industrial markets. Our domestic distribution has grown steadily over the years and has expanded into the burgeoning international marketplace. Our mission, “To manufacture quality products at an affordable price with short, reliable lead times” has held true to make Fire Pro a successful division of Potter Roemer, a leading manufacturer of interior fire protection products. Potter Roemer was founded in 1937 as a manufacturer’s representative agency by Glen K. Potter and Ray H. Roemer. Over the years,  Potter Roemer has experienced steady growth and has expanded its core business by acquiring companies such as Fire Pro in April of 2000.  Due to Fire Pro's success, we have expanded our core business to include “Custom Fabrication and Remote Control Monitor and Nozzles”. In 2003, a partnership alliance was formed between Acorn Engineering Company and Jay R. Smith Mfg.Co., relocating Potter Roemer and Fire Pro to City of Industry, California near the headquarters of Acorn Engineering Company. Donald Morris became President and Jay L. Smith, Chairman. We are proud of our long history and our accomplishments and do not take our position of leadership lightly. We remain committed to providing the best products and service in the industry.
